What is Tofu?

Tofu, also known as bean curd, is made of Soya Bean milk by separating the protein and whey in the Soya Bean Milk with a coagulating agent. It’s then pressed into a white block shape similar to a cheese block.

 

What is Soya Bean?

Soya Bean is from the legumes family and is one of the most protein-rich foods you will find
in the plant-based diet. It’s also carbon footprint friendly.

GM Free & Organic?

Yes, all our Soya Beans are GM-free and organically certified by the Soil Association, license no. DA30523. We source soya beans from ethical farmers worldwide and also work with deprived farmers in Burma, the birthplace of founders.

 

What coagulating agent do you use?

Different Tofu manufacturers use different coagulating agents, but we choose only food-grade Calcium Chloride and Magnesium Chloride which are commonly used in cheese and beer making. Our coagulant is sourced from a specialist supplier who complies with the European Regulation on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and mixtures (CLP) guidelines. This includes regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and (EC) No 790/2009.

How should I cook Tofu?

Please check out our Recipes page for some tasty tofu dishes. You can substitute meat for tofu any time, wash our Tofu with clean water and ready to eat fresh with salads and any dressing, grill, pan-fry, roast with other roots vegs, curry and cut into small dices and sprinkle on your soup

 

How do I place an order?

orders under £20 or you can enjoy free local delivery on orders over £20 - so why not stock up?

There is no minimum order for click & collect from the compound gate of our factory Monday-Thursday between 9 am-5 pm.
Local delivery in Leicestershire is presently on Wednesday in our refrigerated van

Enjoy free UK delivery on orders over £100 and any orders under £100 cost £9 for a door-to-door service with a registered courier, or £6 for a collection service at your nearest DPD pick up point.

 

Order placed after 5pm of Wednesday will be processed on Monday next week for Tuesday or Wednesday delivery
